DRY CREEK VALLEY

Dry Creek Pioneers

Growing grapes goes back some 150 years in Dry Creek Valley. It’s history as a wine region is so mature that’s it had the honor of being one of the first appellations (AVA – American Viticultural Areas) designated as a California wine grape growing region. Dry Creek Valley is exceptionally fertile which drew the interest of many settlers so many years ago. Today is more of the most popular wine regions in Sonoma. Wine tours are fun filled and amazing juice. There are so many great wineries that it sounds like a list of famous celebrities. Ferrari Carano, Francis Ford Coppola, A. Raffanelli, Sbagia, Amphora, Armista and on and on. Every time we do a wine tour here, we will always receive accolades for the day. Master Wine Tours gives thanks to the those Dry Creek pioneers.

Dry Creek Valley

The boom started during the Gold rush and never let up. Dry Creek wines have been crafted since then with Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Rhone varietals like Syrah and the king of the Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon. Other than being a great wine making region, Dry Creek is an incredibly beautiful place, a stones throw from the coast and laid back option to the bustling vitality of modern wine country. Healdsburg offers a great anchor to the valley with exceptional choices for lodging and many delectable restaurants. With it’s history, beauty and world class wine, it is a perfect place to have an wine tour.  Situated in the Northernmost part of Sonoma County, it also has easy access for the top of Napa Valley. Master Wine Tours will assist in your planning to visit to Dry Creek Valley and we will ride you there in style.
